What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Amy: Many people advised me to make sure I took a moment to just pause and appreciate what was going on around me because I wouldn’t remember much. They were right, it was all a blur! But I took that moment to pause, just after dinner in all the chaos of trying to get to everyone to say hello, and I had a moment of pure joy realizing that the love of my life was now my husband and I was in a room full of people I love. It was an amazing moment!
Any advice for future bride/grooms?
Amy: The same advice I got that led to my moment of pure joy, make sure you take a moment to pause and really absorb what is going on around you.
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Amy: Gauge and Charlotte (the two little kids) slow dancing.
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Amy: The absolute only thing I would change is to make sure I got to see everyone and spend a minute with everyone. There were people there I barely said hello to, and a couple that I didn’t see at all. Everything else was perfect.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We only had 3 days for a honeymoon so we spent it at Disneyland! It was super fun. We will be going somewhere, probably Hawaii, for a longer honeymoon within the next year. But it was the perfect honeymoon for the short time we had available.
