Gillian & Tyler’s love story centered around their life together here in sunny San Diego was the perfect inspiration for their simply elegant October wedding. Glowing with excitement and joy for the day to come, friends, family and loved ones gathered at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Pacific Beach, CA for a traditional, sunlit ceremony where exchanged vows and a kiss shared was all that was needed for Gillian and Tyler to start their new lives together as man and wife. Their friendship, love and compassion towards each other was undeniable, with endless gazes and warm, loving kisses captured along the rustic, worn walls of the church and evergreen fields of grass as they made their way to Liberty Station for their brew-inspired reception. Held at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens in Point Loma, the bride and groom’s love for San Diego’s craft brewery culture created the perfect backdrop for a night of celebration, with features including vintage bottle chandeliers, bocci ball, a midnight open air dance and lounge patio strung with floating string lights, and an endless array of assorted-flavor cupcakes. A day of commitment, excitement, laughter and memories, we are so excited we were able to work with this happy couple, as well as wedding coordinator Summer Buckley and the amazing venue and staff of Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens at Liberty Station for this beautiful day!

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Gillian: Saying our vows at the ceremony; it felt great making that commitment to each other in front of everyone we love.
Tyler: The ceremony, everything about it felt right. A close second would be the heat. 90 degrees in October?!?!
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Gillian: Asking the limo driver to take me and the bridesmaids to Jack in the Box right before the ceremony. I was so hungry and it was a fun detour that relieved some stress before the ceremony.
Tyler: The impromptu rendezvous with almost 30 of our friends and family at the Imperial House following the reception.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Curacao, in the Caribbean.
