We took a break from the amazing classes and trade show at WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) Convention in Las Vegas this past week for a Trash the Dress session at the Neon Sign Museum in Las Vegas, aka The Boneyard. Rented out by the hour the Boneyard is a photographers dream with the history of Las Vegas at every step. With an amazing team of hair & makeup stylsts, Susan rocked her wedding dress for one final time before have to store it up in the attic. With only an hour to roam the museum we tried to get in as many shots and signs in as we could before they kicked us out. I think we definitely got some keepers! After the Boneyard we decided to head west to Red Rock for some great shots down an old desert highway as the sun set behind the mountains. Such a fun trip I can’t wait to head out to Nevada again as I got some tips on some old ghost towns that are next on my list to explore!

LeiLani @ Elle Golden PhotographyLove these shots! I also got a chance to shoot out at the Neon Boneyard before WPPI this year. I only wish I had rented a 24mm because even my 35mm on my 5dmkii wasn’t wide enough in some spots (like directly in front of the horseshoe). Do you mind sharing what lens you shot with?
I’ve been to Vegas twice and each time I want to shoot in a new place. I’m definitely taking inspiration from this post and shooting at Red Rock next year! You did a fabulous job!
